I think you are going to have a good time in Korea. My husband went to Korean language school in Monterey, CA 14 years ago when he first joined the military and he still says that Korean is the easiest language to learn as far as sounds and characters go. I think the story is that a scientist created the language to be super easy back in the day. My husband even wrote it out like a graph and showed me how to put everything together. This was a while back so I can't go into it much further but it was pretty easy.
Anyway do lots of shopping but stay away from that Kimchee, and have fun with your new blog! I'll be sure to check it out.
